Coronation Street fans ‘rumble’ Theo’s evil plan for Todd after camera twist
Coronation Street fans are convinced they’ve worked out Theo Silverton’s real sick plan for Todd Grimshaw after a major camera twist in the latest episodes
Coronation Street devotees believe they’ve cracked the sinister plot of Theo Silverton against Todd Grimshaw, following Monday’s hidden camera twist.
Earlier this week, the popular ITV soap aired a specially designed episode focusing on the harrowing domestic abuse storyline involving Todd and Theo. Theo made his debut on the cobbles earlier this year as Todd’s new love interest.
However, his malevolent side soon surfaced as he began to manipulate Todd, aiming to control every aspect of his life and isolate him from his loved ones.
Lately, the abuse has escalated to include physical assaults in deeply disturbing scenes, prompting a terrified Todd to install secret cameras throughout their home.

Monday’s episode was uniquely shown entirely through various recording devices including Todd’s covert camera, CCTV footage, dashcam videos, video doorbell captures and police bodycams, with a series of flashbacks unveiling the harsh reality of their private life, reports the Daily Star.
After a week filled with distressing scenes showcasing Theo’s manipulation and mistreatment of Todd, the latter reached his limit and confronted his abusive partner upon discovering he’d been secretly tracking his movements.
In the heated showdown, Theo attempted to attack Todd as he announced his decision to end the relationship and demanded an immediate halt to Theo’s actions, ordering him to leave the flat.
Theo labelled Todd as “vile” before shoving him, which led to Todd retaliating and pushing Theo into a coffee table, leaving him unconscious. The commotion outside alarmed the residents of Weatherfield, who promptly alerted the police, resulting in Todd’s arrest while Theo was whisked off to hospital.
Todd kept mum about the incident, dismissing it as an unfortunate accident, while Theo was treated as the victim. In a troubling twist, the police provided Theo with information on domestic abuse.
Upon their return home, Theo continued his manipulation of Todd, with things taking a darker turn when he discovered the surveillance equipment installed by Todd.
In Tuesday’s episode, viewers saw Todd examining the damaged cameras, while Theo made light of the situation, joking about disposing of evidence. Later, George Shuttleworth, Todd’s former stepfather and boss, dropped by to check on them.

Theo extended an invitation to George and Christina Boyd for lunch, during which Todd remained silent and visibly anxious. When questioned about their well-being, Theo brushed it off, claiming he had been drunk and that Todd had confronted him harshly, but insisted it was all just an accident.
After the meal, Todd challenged Theo, claiming he was tired of the lies and that Theo had instigated the confrontation. In response, Theo accused Todd of gaslighting him and distorting events to drive him to the brink of madness before fleeing to the bedroom with his laptop.
Shortly afterwards, Theo emerged claiming to have video evidence proving Todd was responsible for everything. He then showed footage from the previous evening, which had been significantly edited, displaying only Todd shoving him into the coffee table.
Todd immediately highlighted that Theo had tampered with the recording and questioned how long he’d spent editing it, asking whether he’d been working on it overnight. Yet Theo twisted the situation once more, suggesting Todd could seek help for his problems, whilst Todd maintained he wasn’t the one requiring assistance.
Taking to social media platforms, viewers believe Theo was aware of the cameras all along and deliberately orchestrated the incident to frame Todd.
One viewer commented: “I think Theo knew about the cameras and set Todd up” whilst another account observed: “Watching last night I thought Theo knew about the camera that’s why he was playing the victim role trying to make Todd the abuser.”
