What exactly do Ice T’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit watch parties look like? Well, a scene from a 2012 episode of his reality show gives fans a hilarious behind the curtain.
Ice Loves Coco ran for three seasons on E! from 2011-2013 — all of which you can stream on Peacock right now — giving fans an up-close-and-personal look at the relationship between Ice T and his wife, Coco Austin. This late-night SVU watch party scene from the fourth episode of Season 2 (“Baby Got Backseat Driver”) shows just how much snacking Ice T does when he sits back and watches his character, Sergeant Odafin “Fin” Tutuola, handle business every week on the NBC crime drama.
In the episode, Ice T, lounging in a chair and enjoying a bowl of cereal, is intently watching himself on his gigantic TV in his bedroom before coming to a realization.
“Hold up,” he asked Austin, who was getting ready for bed. “Do you think I frown too much on TV?”
Throughout his career, Ice T’s SVU tenure has been marked by his character’s no-nonsense attitude and a serious mug that is as intimidating as Christopher Meloni’s iconic Stabler Stare.
“That’s just your face,” Austin deadpanned.
“Spartacus got one too,” he replied as the camera zoomed in on his adorable bulldog pup. “It’s part of our character, right?”
And that’s when Austin noticed Ice T’s hidden stash.
As it turns out, the star’s watch parties include a “secret drawer” filled with plenty of sweet snacks — and Ice T wasn’t shy about showing off his seemingly endless supply of cereal, Twinkies, Reese’s cups, fruit pies, and cookies.
“One of the great beauties of being an adult is being able to eat cereal after midnight,” he proclaimed — and one camera cut later, Ice T worked in a few dumbbell reps of shoulder presses, calling himself a “physical specimen.”
Ice T returns to Law & Order: SVU in a two-hour crossover event in 2026
Both Law & Order Season 25 and Law & Order: SVU Season 27 are on a brief holiday hiatus, with NBC’s annual holiday programming taking their regularly scheduled Thursday night timeslots for the time being.
However, Law & Order Thursdays will return in a major way on January 8, 2026, with a two-hour crossover event that will see the worlds of Law & Order and Law & Order: SVU collide.
